Acknowledging the inequalities present in the film industry, Jeanette Greenwood transformed an 11-year-old organization formed in 2009, Headline Mentors & Performing Arts, to Ladies in Film & Television. This rebranding paved the way for an organization that advocates for inclusivity and equality, creating a safe and supportive space free from discrimination based on race, age, color, or gender.
The primary objective of Ladies in Film & Television is to foster an environment of positivity and support. The organization is dedicated to celebrating the accomplishments of all individuals, providing networking opportunities to help them grow and succeed. In an industry that has traditionally been male-dominated, Ladies in Film & Television strives to showcase the talents of women and men of all ages, races, and backgrounds. Members of the organization have the chance to connect with industry professionals, gain valuable mentorship, and access educational resources.
Ladies in Film & Television is a shining beacon of hope in a world still rife with systemic inequality. This organization has demonstrated that through dedication and cooperation, we can bring about positive change. Their aim is to cultivate a nurturing and supportive environment where individuals can flourish and prosper. The progress achieved by this organization is proof that promoting inclusivity and diversity can transform the film industry.
Our mission is to cultivate innovative ideas and initiatives through hands-on projects, workshops, and training courses.
